I'm so sorry to hear this news...I was wondering what was going on as I saw both peregrines at each corner of their local hangout in the early morning hours yesterday and today.
Maybe they will re-nest...if not, hope they hang out until the end of the season and return next year as a pair.

We don't believe so, the site is very inaccessible and we know who has access and haven't had any concerns so far! So the likelihood of them disappearing into a human pocket, is virtually nil.

Is it possible a human could have done something? Hope not.

Yes, but that's not unusual - one minute there, one minute gone. Hopefully the camera will have caught all or part of what might have happened.

No, but have no idea if this pair would even consider it because I don't know what kind of parents they are ... we'll watch for copulation though, that might indicate they are considering another attempt ....
