Good to hear, TPC! :) I was actually wondering if they have any overhead covering to protect them from the rain at this nestsite.

Glad Cooper posted here, reminded me that I hadn't posted on Jules & Beau in the rain last night ... they were fine.  Eggs not chicks so no worries there and she was on the nest and when I went past (the cam just looks at the nest, no where else), he was parked about 6 feet away from her way under cover, so I'm not sure but I think neither one of them got wet last night.

Birdie at the diner at 8:50 a.m., sitting on the "p". P for pouring rain! But didn't seem to mind.

Can't even check out your photos at work Dennis.
Can't even see the ones posted in the forum.  Just a white square where the photo should be.
Damn IT dept.

yes, good to hear that you have been able to help.  I see them when we are driving our grand daughter to her soccer practices...at the 'diner'. No idea where the nest site is but hope for the best :)

Jules is parked on her eggs at the moment and all looks calm and secure.  Actually both birds seem a bit calmer at this point in their incubation than last year which is a small mercy.  It also helps that their eggs are safe this year from getting damaged during incubation.  With luck, all four eggs will hatch out safely this year.
