Should be fledging about the time you are passing through Shock!  If you get there, you don't need to look far, they will probably be within a couple of blocks of the McKenzie Seeds Building.  My suggestion, go to the top level of the City Centre parkade, that will give you a better view of all the surrounding buildings and probably a better chance of seeing them.

Thanks for the info TPC.......may just be able to organize things.  ;D  We are familiar with Brandon(having lived there for 12 years long ago) and think we could park along Princess close to the parkade.

Birdlover, would luv to meet you for some birdie lookin' 'n talkin' and a bite to eat. We are just not sure when we will get away as we have a function to attend Sat ........ depends how late we are!  :o  :o  If you PM me your phone #, I could call on our way.

I just got back from Brandon, had to give hubby a ride to work since his car died on him.  So after that, I went to the parkade across from the Mckenzie building to see if I could spot the falcons.  Lovely morning, blue sky and very light breeze. I saw, who I believe was Zeus perched on the north east side of the building and Hurricane sitting on top of one of the light fixtures above the clock.  I was hoping to see some aerial acrobatics, but they were just hanging out keeping watch over the chicks. They both have a good vantage point of the nestledge from there.  I, of course took my binoculars with me.   ;D   Lucky me, I got to see some wingercizing going on in the nestbox.  That was really  8)

Its only three stories - one escalator trip & one flight of stairs  ::).  Send hubby off to Princess Auto and then you can take your time checking out the chicks!!   If you need lunch at some point, the Double Decker is just down the street.

About when will these Brandon chicks be fledging? I will be heading for Killarney the 19th and would like to check the birdies out. Problem is there will be a 38 ft camper in tow and hubby will have to be convinced.  ::) (Hwy south of Brandon is under construction so another route is planned via Shilo.) Pacific is usually not that busy especially on a Sun. Really need to get a real live peregrine fix!  ;D

I remembered my binocs!!  ;D ;D
Just came back from checking on the kids here and all looks great.  Saw all four moving around in the nest.  They are feathering out nicely and are all active.

One of the adults gave a great show while I was there.  Don't know which one.  Soaring on the winds around the downtown.  Awesome to watch these magnificent creatures.

Some what surprised that mention of TPC new hardware hasn't been posted...I have a couple of photos that won't be posted till the end of the gallery ?Kinderchick...what say you ??
I say, go for it Dennis! Although I wouldn't want to risk being shovelled myself, with that bright red shiny new "La Shovelle" that TPC now has in her possession! ;)
