Tracy can move and add this to  ???

Peregrine Phanatics are often looking for information as to what bird is where and what band # belongs to what bird in what city, and where did that bird come from and would a  peregrine eat my pet gopher or will it attack my cat in the back yard...
NO to the last 2...your gophers are safe and your cat is safe...just be careful of the pigeon that you feed from your hand in the park downtown.

This gallery will contain as much information as possible for a " Quick Info Center "...if I can get a band number to ID the bird it will be shown here.
Hoping to in time add fledged chick band #'s at some point...Rome wasn't built in a day, so this will be worked on in my spare time.
Your comments and feed back can only make this gallery better, thanks.
Now remember these are only my photos and records for more detailed information, names, dates etc.you must contact Tracy.

Cheers !

Driving north on Main St. just before 5:00 p.m., I think I saw Princess soaring just south of the Radisson.  My daughter insisted that I keep my eyes on the road (something about putting her life at risk ::)) so I couldn't confirm that it was a PF, but I like to think it was :-*

It was interesting to see that Princess pretty much abandoned the Sterling Bldg with Ivy.....when she was with Trey, both of them were frequent visitors to that bldg (which I appreciated a lot since it was right in front of my desk!!).  Since Trey has not been around, Princess has pretty much abandoned the Sterling.....interesting stuff!

What nobody was out today looking skyward...

My neck is cranked up at the JR sign all the time -- nothing seen yet, poop!

Different birds certainly have different preferred perches ... Trey's perch on the cherub has been empty since he left, Ivy & Princess don't use the JR sign like Princess & Trey did, Ivy looks to be the first of our resident males to like the little perch on the Kensington Building.  And Princess didn't used to visit the Hydro sign when she was with Trey - neither of them did in fact.  Hard for a day to go by when you don't see one or both of them on that sign.  Hopefully the new hotel across from the MTS Centre will be as popular when its done - and that construction activities won't put them off nesting in the box next year - they should be fine this year I think, they are still working on demolition, so don't think the cranes will come in until after eggs laid, or even eggs hatched - at which point neither Princess nor Ivy are likely to leave the eggs/chicks.

Saw them both as I was walking around downtown, Princess on the nestbox and Ivy on the MB Hydro sign (around 11).  On my way home, could only see Princess on the nestbox.    It's a lovely day out there!

Glad you saw both birdies Pam, and yes it is a great day for watching falcons!  ;)
