I walked by the base of the equipment this afternoon and there were a couple of dead birdy legs discarded there so someone must be hanging around up top!

Migration started??? Some birdie came back to visit HSC last night.  He/she was here at 5:30.  I don't think its the same bird as two weeks ago (the chest is not as bright white).

The construction equipment is still up on the Buhler building, but no one has used it for the last 2 days.  Hope they stay away and don't scare the birds off again.

Looks like the job is on hold...the equipment was there all day Thursday, Friday and again today, but not a worker in sight all three days.

The workers or their equipment have been here all week = no birds around all week.  Hurry up and get the job done boys!!!!

Have you heard whether they are working on the weekends to get the job done sooner?

Dennis, no point in coming down today.  Workers started doing some maintanence work on all the windows facing south of the Brodie Centre yesterday and are still there today.  This is right around the corner from where they like to sit on the east facing letters, about five feet away.

Let you know if and when they/he/she returns next week.

Could that be Ivy, TPC?

It could be - or it could be Jules or Beau or Cowboy. they have all been there this year.  If this were September/October, it could also be one of the Brandon birds or another migrant so if it keeps hanging around it could have company - Luck from Brandon turned up here last October

The white breasted PF was hanging out here all last week.  Some staff saw he/her early in the morning(between 7-8).  I saw him/her every day but Wednesday on my way home (anywhere between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.)

Now that the sun has passed overhead, one birdie was sitting on the east facing letters again at 3:00ish.  I was driving this time and was not able to see clearly, but it looked like the white breasted one from earlier this week.

Some birdie was visiting HSC again at 8:15 last night on the east facing letters.

and two birds this morning at 9:30.... one birdie was on the roof and one was sitting on the letters facing south.

I wonder if Cowboy has a new gal pal, with his partner, Kate, gone now? ??? Or maybe the 2 birds are from the Radisson? :-\

Likely they are the Radisson birds, I would be surprised if Cowboy (if it is Cowboy) would have a girlfriend this fast - we don't have enough birds roaming through town here - more southern cities have more birds moving east/west, we don't.  Or it might be one of the fledglings ... don't think that if it is Cowboy he would see a juvenile as a threat - he doesn't have chicks to protect and hasn't had for months and a juvenile isn't particularly threatening to an 11 year-old adult male peregrine.
