Beatrix is sitting on the corner of the ledge, looking up and around. She has let out a cry or two, and now, she's just panting :P :P :P

Ok, can't see him at all from my perch - he could well be lying down in the shade!

'Fraid I could only see so far before the wind on the camera just didn't give me a clear enough image.  Couldn't see him around on any edges up, but he could just have hopped down to hang out in the shade somewhere.  To see in shadow I have to zoom in, when I zoom in, the wind buffets the camera too much for me to get a clear image I'm afraid.  When it gets cooler/calmer, he'll probably popped his head up.

And yes for those of you concerned about the worst case scenario, both the rehab organizations here (Prairie Wildlife and Wildlife Haven) are aware that the Radisson peregrines are fledging so if a peregrine in the province ends up in their care, I'll hear about it quickly.

I am betting she goes later today.

But I hope she stays one more day. till Cade gets flying more. then you can bring CArson back to the box

I'd like her to go in good conditions and not at rush hour ... so early morning or later in the evening.  Given a choice, the evening so if she does land safely, she can wait out the night and try again in the quiet the next morning.  But none of them ever listen to me so who knows what she'll do.  She's looking good though, very trim and alert.

they do not listen to me either TPC. She does look mighty fine.

And a couple of extra days for Carson to work on his flying in a safe location is not a bad thing, pretty sure he won't wait once he gets back to the box ...

Going to hijack the skycam and take a look - with the wind I might not get a good look but will try ...

Haven't seen Cade on the Rogers for quite a while....adults are in place on the MB Hydro & Rad tower, though.

... lets try to keep a bit more on topic on the observational threads folks  :)

Sorry about that, TPC -- as one of the "older folks" on the forum, I do know better.

Its lovely to see new folks joining us just as fledging is getting exciting, but lets try to keep a bit more on topic on the observational threads folks  :)

To help out, I've set up a "meet-and-greet" board in the Social Zone.

Thanks Gang!

Has Carson tried to fly yet?

Haven't called Wildlife Haven for today's update ...they get very busy during the day, so I try to wait until late afternoon when hopefully the rush will be less ...
