Oooh..my first post! :)  Hello everyone.  I see that Beatrix seems to be taking a nap.  Great plan, as it is quite hot out there.

Too bad my little budgie wouldn't take her lead and have a snooze instead of getting into trouble...hee..heee...

Kinderchick anf I both left around 10 or so.  Couldn't see parents at that point -- which means nothing! - Cade on east side of Rogers, on the roof edge, with his back to Beatris, she was looking to the north.
Getting pretty warm downtown.  Some great folks about - asking about the falcons, or just what we were looking at.

Thx for weather forcast.   Looks windy, but Wpg is frequently windy as I remember.
Miss Bea is busy preening.   Hope she stays put until I return to computer this afternoon.   This is better than any action movie!!!

For those of you from away here is the current weather in Winnipeg is

at 1000h CDT it is 23.6C but feels like 31C with the humidex ....

And the forecast ...

Today - Sunny. High 29. UV index 9 or very high. (humidex at 32C+)
Tonight - Clear. Low 15.
Friday - Sunny. Increasing cloudiness early in the evening with 70 percent chance of showers late in the evening. Risk of thunderstorms late in the evening. Wind becoming south 20 km/h late in the afternoon. High 29. (humidex 33C+)

Okay, now she's back in her usual spot, looking like maybe she'll relax.  It would be great if Cade would come home and hang with her for awhile, maybe play a few board games, and take his "little" sister's mind off of the idea of fledging today.

Bea's being far too adventurous for my liking - checking out other parts of the nest edge,etc.  The nestbox is still in the shade, though, so if the sun would hurry up and cover that area, then it'll be too hot to go out and little Miss can go have a nap instead of driving everyone crazy ::)

Bahh!  >:( >:( This limited viewing of the cam from work is driving me nuts today.  As I've said before I get about a 5-10s view after I hit the red restart button.  Darn streaming limitations!!! So... keep those written updates coming! My last peek showed Bea stretching her wings... (and thanks for the better view TPC, I think we were all tired of seeing tail feathers and a dirty nest!  ;D).
