I think they are trying to entice Bea to fly and be prepared for the both of them. The adults seem to be very intuitive.

Think Cade just came home ... landed on the ledge ..

... and gone again so I guess it was one of the adults ... couldn't tell on the ledge-cam, too far away and the ledge is in the shade so they all look dark with their back to the cam ...

Spoke to the "watchers" downtown and they advised that One of the parents is stitting on the Radisson roof near the antenna just above the nest box and the other parent is sitting on the Radisson sign, the "D", just below the nest box.  They also reported that Cade and Bea were screeching back and forth this morning.  Possibly the parents are sitting on the Radisson trying to entice Cade to return to the nest box??

Thanks for all the updates!  It's almost like being there... OK, maybe not, but it's the next best thing for those of us stuck behind a desk (but luckily in front of a computer!) far, far away from the action!

Update from Kinderchick and Des - Ivy just brought Cade some breakfast and Princess is flying around Bea at the Radisson.

He's now shifted over a bit to the n/e corner.  Both adults are now on the MB Hydro sign.

Kinderchick and Des just called me and let me know Cade is still on the Rogers building, on the roof above the "R" in Rogers on the east side of the building facing the Radisson (nest box).

One minute you see tail feathers and the next minute they are gone.  Is she up and down on the ledge?  Need a different view at the nest box!

At times like this I am so jealous of those of you who work downtown (Pam, Motherhen)!  Of course, like Jazzerkins said, if I did I wouldn't be getting much work done (not that I am anyway!  ). 

Jazzerkins - I too will be downtown around 5pm tonight.  My first fledge watch.  Looking forward to meeting whoever else will be there then!

There's also an adult on the Rad. tower, guessing Princess.

This was a favourite spot last year for the fledglings as well.  They've been doing some kind of work up there for months, but it seems to be complete (good timing!).
