oh, shift change, there goes Trey in towards the camera and gone,  feeding time, think its Princess just came in from the same way Trey existed. Nice view of her Back!

Yep here comes the food, of course back to camera and can't see the feeding as clearly but can certainly see the little ones moving about.

Tracy, what is the significance of Trey shaking his head as if it's vibrating, is it because he's cold?  Or is he getting a headache from the squirming kids lol

Yeah they certainly do seem more mobile and certainly more squirmy.  LOL Falconista, my father used to say that, don't make me come over there

Haha yeah if I ever have kids of my own that will be my one liner for sure!

The chicks are quite the little shovers under there. I'm sure one of them has their sibling's foot or wing in their face.

Yeah and the kids are saying, "Can you move your foot it's in my face."  "I'm trying but junior is in my way. mmmmmffffff" "Everyone move now because I have to go to the bathroom!"

I think the "move over" phase might be starting sooner than we think if the way that they are wiggling under Trey is any indication!  ;D

I can just hear Trey now... "Don't make me come under there!"

lmao the smell of food has the wayward kid in minnisota back to the chick huddle too funny watching him work his way back

Tracy how long will it be before our youngins start getting mobile and moving around?

If the weather were more cooperataive (ie warmer and dry) then the chicks would probably be more on their own right now (parents sitting beside) but still sleeping alot.  With the cooler/wetter weather, they know they all know where the chicks need to be.  Most of the time when you see Trey move right now, its because the chicks are fussing under him and he's moving out of their way.  Keep in mind that he isn't actually sitting on them, he's crounched over them - he's using his feet and wings for support.  Sot the kids are much more mobile than they were on the weekend when all they did was eat and nap.

Peregrine chicks at this age have two speeds: naptime and "want food".

A little later it becomes: naptime, "want food" and "move over".

At fledging its: naptime, "want food", "move over" and "where'd you go?!".

Post-fledging its: "want food" and "wait for me"

At migration: "hasta la vista baby" and "I'll take that to go"

All three Minnesota chicks are back together and getting fed so no need to worry!

Trey still seems to have some feathers sticking out of his mouth.  ;D ;D So funny.

That chick in front is trying his best to wiggle his way back under his dad. I can just see a white behind sticking out from under Trey's head!
