Good morning everyone.  Caught the end of the chicks breakfast.  Trey (not sure) was snacking on the leftovers. The chicks must have been well fed because there was no tug of war going on.  Couldn't believe how small he(she) looked next to the chicks.....mainly because he's so sleek and they're so "rolly polly".  One is so funny.  He/She kept trying to step over the side of the nest box.  Kept raising his foot in an attempt to step in...using wings for balance.  Finally made it and proceeded through and out the other side. ( a short cut to the north end ??) Two are at the north end gazing at the city and the third is at the southern tip settling down for a nap.  Have a good day.  Will catch up when I get home. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

I can't hazard a guess, Pegcity.  can't estimate size from this and more important, can't see the markings which is the usual way I tell them apart.  That said, Trey likes to hang out on the point more than Princess, when I've watched.  but I would not make a bet.

Is that Mom or Pops on watch tonight?

What a great shot of the guardian this eve!

There's a parent on the ledge in silhouette.  a bit of talon tapping going on.  wonder if they know what TPC is planning?  do they remember this?

or, is it that they had a late night snack (which they clearly do, in silhouette too)...   ::)

I hope everything will go well at banding tomorrow. I can't be online earlier in the day, but will look forward to updates and pics and/or video coverage later.

I don't/won't know banding time until we have the equipment rigged (takes a few hours), or nearly rigged, and then we can assess the weather for safety.  There are a series of storms south and west of us and we are forecasted to have rain and thunderstorms - so we will have to see.

As posted in the News banner at the top of the Forum's main page, when I know, I will let everyone know - CBC will post on the webcam page and I'll be posting on the Forum and Blog pages.  I most likely won't have an opportunity to send e-updates as I will be in one place and my e-update mailing lists will be in another.

That's all I know at this point.

No idea, depends on when DA Matthews has the equipment set up (takes a few hours) and then we will assess the weather - we are suppose to have rain, thunderstorms, but so far light winds so ...

As posted on the top of the Forum and on the Blog, as soon as I know, I will post here, the Blog and notify CBC and Shaw for them to post where they will ...

And that's all I have right now

Thanks, all.  Dennis will do much better when he visits!  It is an interesting perspective, we will be able to see more and more of them soon!
