TPC, thank you sooo much for keeping us apprised of the set-up for banding.  I will be glued to the webcam all day so that I don't miss a thing.

I wondered though, I know when my bird gets stressed after eating he has tossed his banana (so to speak), does this happen to the chicks when they are being handled?  Or can a Peregrine vomit under stress?

I also wondered, will  you be removing the tuppernest while you are there?

Every time is different - I will be climbing on the ledge though, its too big to really do it any other way.  Great view and the parents can't get to me when I'm there.  Actually, they were really very good, ticked, but good last time we went up.  It will take a bit of time for everything to be set up so keep your fingers crossed that the wind stays light or dies entirely!!

DA Matthews will try to give me a heads-up an hour before they are finished rigging so that I have time to get all the final details in place - that includes all the notifications to you lot !

there's a rope hanging down, one chick looking at it trying to figure out what the heck that thing is... :P
I am so excited, I actually have the day off after missing the other bandings for one reason or another ;D

I watch these chicks daily and still can't get over how they have grown just overnight........right before our eyes.  They sure can  get around!
