I haven't been in to post, but have been watching. Oh my goodness how these little ones have progressed. They are so adorable I just wish I could hold and hug one...lol
When they do the banding do they take them inside the building? Does anyone know?

No matter, I'm tuned in for the day.  Not going to miss the big event.  Just wish I was there to see it live.

I will be here in Brandon for the banding and plan on being ringside.  Well, as ringside as I can get anywho. LOL

The one chick is not interested in eating . he now moved to corner at 2 and now has moved in to feed . another has moved over by the pipe thing.
Johnny come lately is trying to down something and the parent has moved more to the left now.
I do not know how much Johnny come lately got.
Parent has taken food and is eating on ledge at 2. Johnny come lately is sitting looking out at 3-4 and other chicks are just belwo the line(at least one is)

I wonder how squirmy the Kinderchicklets will be at school today with waiting for the big event.  Sure hope it happens while they are all together so they get to catch it.

Yay Kinderchicklets!

Yup Loriann, I have had birds regurgitate for me too.  "I love you mum.  Barf" but I have also had them regurgitate from stress.  It's not a pretty sight.  It would be even less pretty from a carrion eater.   :o  Fruits, veg, and seed is an entirely different story.   ;D

My macaw 'tosses his banana'  ( LOL) at me to show me he loves me,, he regurgitates his food onto my hand if i don't move it fast enough.. like an adult feeding  a chick pre-chewed food.
I know he means well,, but GROSS !..

keep the business end pointed away so you can project any projectiles away from you. both ends.   good luck today..

0829 hrs (local) - Trey is looking up at the roof from the point of the ledge, he knows what's going to happen ... chicks are blissfully unaware ... curious maybe but don't look stressed.  How can I tell, the chicks are hanging out right by one of the rigging cables, if they were scared/stressed, they would be as far away from it as they could be ...

If is hot, they chicks will flake out in the sun and nap through much/most/all of the setup, that would be very nice ....

I wondered though, I know when my bird gets stressed after eating he has tossed his banana (so to speak), does this happen to the chicks when they are being handled?  Or can a Peregrine vomit under stress?

None have on me yet ... aack, now that you have suggested it, watch it happen!  Bad BL, bad bad BL!!  ;D
