Now we just have to get over feeling bad for the poor girl spending the night in a bucket - but I'm sure it'll bother us more than her. At least she's safe ;D

WOW!  Well I'm glad she's safe and sound for the night.  Gave me quite a start this afternoon when I came back to the computer and there was no bird in the ledge.

I agree with ballywing, bcbird, I don't think TPC meant a hotel room.  She just said, "A quiet room.  There are lots of them in the hotel."   :D

Awww poor girl..however, very happy to know that she's in Tracy's care!  Well, she will just get the royal treatment as she deserves.  Way to go everyone that spotted Little Miss and way to go Tracy....!

I think not bcbird, but TPC said she's had enough food for today and when P&T find her tomorrow morning, they'll bring her breakfast.  :D

Hi everyone, just got home from the fledgewatch and I report that our little Sis is with Tracy.  She tried to fly up off the Regis but couldn't make and went gently down into the back lane and waddled over to a doorstep on Garry Street.  Tracy was quick to arrive with a bucket and swoop her into it, cover with a towel and wisk her away.  CBC camera's happened by and interviewed her and will probably post a story tonight??  Anyway, Tracy says she will probably put Sis on the west side nest tomorrow morning and let her fledge from there where she'll be considerably higher and will probably have more luck.

Sis has been rescued (she landed in a lane) and TPC is keeping her in a quiet room at the hotel for the night, and will put her in the nestbox tomorrow morning.  I'll leave the details to MsD, ballywing, or someone else who was there for the whole event.

Gramma, if you haven't gone yet, not sure if there will be anyone there. TPC said the boys are doing fine with their flying skills, and with SIS  in a bucket , no fledge-watching is necessary tonight - everyone there at the time has left now, but who knows there might be others show up!  8)
