Well, after travelling all day yesterday, here I am in "small town" southern Ontario, visiting my family. Thought I would absolutely go crazy, not having access to the internet at my sister's place, where I am staying! But, alas, followed her to work early this morning and here I sit at the computer in her office while she is up to other work! BOT, just finished reading all of yesterday's posts, as well as todays. Thanks for all the updates everyone! So glad that Vesper is well and enjoying her stay in her new penthouse! And what a wnderful photo of Vesper and TPC that you posted yesterday, Dennis! Thanks a billion!!! Looks and sounds like the weather is not good, there in Winnipeg. The camera on the nestbox appears all fogged up. I can hardly see anything. Looks like it's raining quite a bit. Nice and sunny here in southern Ontario! Why not move the nestbox over here for the day?!  (LOL) Hopefully, I will be able to check in every day! Please keep those posts a comin'! Now I know how very important it is for us "out-of-towners"!

OMG.  I hope they're all safe.  Can't see anything out my window and I'm just south of downtown.

Rain just came down with a vengeance -- the sky is almost white with it right now. I'm only about 2 km from downtown, so I hope Des has found a warm spot to shelter while keeping an eye on our Vesper. Is that really one of the boys huddled against the wall of the nest ledge?

The tail may just brush the wast end.

If this is the tail, I'd hate to be in the middle of it!

I'm still trying to get there. The rain had stopped, I was just waiting for the phone battery to finish charging, and would leave. The rain has hit again, comibng down in torrents, with all kinds of thunder rolling around in the background - or maybe that's the wind. My only consolation right now is that nobody would be doing much flying right now, though from the cam you're not getting this downtown. Yet. I will come as soon as I can get out of the house without getting drenched (garage not connected to the house).

was outside, all is well. Just now got a call from the watchers, she's still on the nest box. Vesper has been doing the inside/outside thing all morning. Rascal.
