Shaky cam (windy up there) but no noticeable stuttering. Looks like Princess may be getting something to eat herself.

1814 hrs (local) - little chick butts keep appearing & reappearing as dinner nears its end.  Now Princess is playing sunshade as the chicks start to settle back down to naptime ....

If we get warmer weather, I suspect that she will start pulling them out from inside and we will get more looks at them with the skycam.

Was going to zoom out but Ivy just arrived with a second helping and feeding re-commences ...

1805 hrs (local) - classic kids.  The tots were all asleep when in flew one of the adults with dinner.  The adult was able to start eating for at least a minute before the tots woke up ... and when they did wake, it was all in a rush.  Very cute!

1759 hrs (local) - the adults are away from the box and the chicks are asleep in a pile  in the late afternoon sun.

:) TPC, thank you so very much for your reminder for me and others. This IS Winnipeg and the weather can change in a nano minute. You know us better than we do and we often need a reminder. GCG  :-*

:( Dear TPC and Eye-Spy, is there any indication when the nestcam will again be up and running? I have no doubts that you have been working on this around the clock. I think that I can speak for all, we wish that we can assist you in any way possible. To quote a Tina Turner song title, "You're simply the best".  Hugs and many  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*.

As mentionned on other posts we will not be going anywhere near either the Radisson or West Winnipeg nests until the weather is warm and dry which at this point means Wednesday at the earliest.  In both cases we will likely have to disturb the adults which means they will be leaving the chicks uncovered so the weather must cooperate.  We won't be there long, but time away is still time away.  Until then, the skycam is up and operating perfectly!

:) Judging by the movement of the parent (Princess), I believe it is breakfast time. Thanks you Eye-Spy for providing us with this cam view.  :-*

Uh Oh!, breakfast is over.  :(

Thank you Eye-spy for braving the rain to check on our family for us!  And thank you TPC for the videos, so good to see a chick pile and some sunshine in the background  :-* :-*

I hope our other pairs are okay and am ever hopeful that Jules will have some babies of her own this year...can't wait to find out  :)

:) Is it Day 7 already? Good Morning Radisson Royals! Hope today is sunny and warm. I am still waiting to see the butt-scoot.  ;D It should be easier to do on dry pebbles rather than riding the rapids on wet ones. See you at daybreak. ;)
