Edge of chick pile showing as they sun themselves in the late afternoon sun!  What a surprise to even get a glimpse!

Another food drop by Ivy, who barely hesitated on the ledge before departing.
That Princess runs a tight ship.
So far no glimpses of the little ones, but they are obviously being fed.

I need to know how to view both sites at the same time. Any help? Other than having two computers going at the same time. LOL
I was just thinking that maybe you are wondering how to view the peregrines at the West Winnipeg site, gcg? :-\ If that is what you are asking about, there isn't a webcam for public viewing on that nest site. TPC and Eye-Spy (our webcam guy) have access to viewing those peregrines on a special spy camera, so that they can monitor those birds. :)

Not sure what you mean by this, gcg. :-\ As far as I can tell, there is only one view of this site, at the moment. The skycam view is what is available for now because the nest box camera has not been working since the storm this past weekend.

:) Hello to all! I have been away for most of the day. Just peeked at the skycam and do not even see tail feathers. But not to worry, they have chosen to remain in the shade, not to bask in the sun????? A question for TPC, I know the chicks are very young, however, at what age does Mom or Dad drop off their (meals) and the chicks feed themselves? ???

After posting this, I again went to view skycam, (DUH!) I see lots of parent, at least 3/4th, apparently a feeding. I need to know how to view both sites at the same time. Any help? Other than having two computers going at the same time. LOL

I have the camera on screen and it looks windy in Winnipeg, but all that is showing is a glimpse of tail feathers.    Flipping back and forth between work and Falcon Cam I always seem to miss the change of guard between Princess and Ivy and feeding time.  It's so darn hard to get any work done with only one computer screen. :(

:) Princess is now feeding the chicks. Ivy had been sitting on the ledge but he has now flown the coop. ;D

:) June 1st, Day 8. I am eagerly looking forward to today if the weather co-operates. Hopefully, as TPC said in her post last night, we will get a better look at the Radisson Royals basking in the sun.  8)

I agree with you, Kinderchick.  It is a nice feature of the sky cam that we see real size through the lens.  I'm very interested in the time Ivy spends while Princess is around, because it's always surprising to see the size difference.  It is so marked!

The skycam view is also very interesting.  :) Got to see Princess perched on the outside edge of the nestbox not long ago. I guess she was taking a little break. Then Ivy flew in. Very interesting to see them side by side, to compare sizes. Quite a definite difference in size.

Ooooh!  Her Highness just stepped away from the chicks, stretched and is now relaxing on the edge of the box!  Waiting for dad?  Enjoying the dry weather, I'm sure!

Hard to believe it's Day 7! :o :o

So finally sitting down to my favourite activity these days - had to work today, for pete's sake, and only had a minute to read a little of the Forum from work - can't get the webcam.  A little falcon withdrawal after being able to check whenever I wanted to on the WE.  So glad to have sunshine.  Thanks to Eye-Spy for working through the rain to get some video footage for us to see - beautiful chickpile!  And thanks as always to TPC for keeping us up to speed on the latest.  Can only see some tailfeathers, that wiggle and giggle once in awhile, but happy knowing all is well and as it should be.

Hey, CBC has now decided that I'm in Canada -- and what great timing! Ivy dropped by with food and Princess is busily trying to keep those little mouths full -- can't see the chicks, but can see most of Princess and she's working hard at this.
