Tracy can the chicks in the nest box hear their brother who fledge, or is he too far away for them to hear? I'm thinking the chicks in the nest box must wonder were he is.

Oh Mr. White, tomorrow is another day and you'll have a name too!

I wonder if he is on the Canada Post Building?  That was a popular hang out last year.

Stay tuned, this is gonna get exciting! ;D

Here is Mr Yellow again appearing on the edge to get his sisters all inspired with his vigourous flapping.  Not to be outdone, Miss Red is up too and gives a few flaps, and Miss green heads for the back of the box.

TPC and bccs were downtown this evening and saw little precocious one fly to the Radisson, but not high enough to the nestbox and then fly away to another building further south.  Then bccs and I walked around, looking for him and couldn't see where he'd gone.  bccs consulted with Eye-Spy via cell and both felt that Mr. white (who will thankfully have a real name tomorrow) will be just fine.   bccs and TPC will likely be reporting this afternoon's events themselves... ;D  bccs also pointed out where Ivy is, on the Manitoba Hydro sign and reassured me that daddy knew exactly where his little son was. ;D

Thanks for the guided tour, bccs!

Just got home from my long weekend away.  Wow so much happened today.  See the threes remaining sitting in the box now.  Poor Mr. White will be all alone tonight.  Hope he will be okay.
Thanks for all the updates from all of you.
Congrats bccs on your 5000 post.

Thanks for all the updates today everyone!  I can't believe I missed the first fledge!  I just started my summer job and I don't know if I can access the cam from their, so I definitely appreciate the play-by-plays!
Thanks again,
KDR

Sounds like a very exciting day!

Good to know that Mr. White is out 'n' about and doing well!

Great job everyone!   ;D

OMG, allikat, you, as well, have over 5000 posts. Absolutely amazing. I am at the low end of the ladder, however, to all who have been here and have posted thousands of times, I have nothing less than pride for meeting and getting to know you for the time I have been here. Thank you for being there for us. GCG :-* :-*
Unfortunately, I must sign off for the night. I know the Radisson Royals are in good hands. Until tomorrow.... :-* ;)

Some serious wingersizing going on - flap like crazy, jump back in the box.All three in the box right now. Not sure whether one shadow was a chick until tail lifted and poop-shot confirmed it. Fortunately at other end of the box, so lens was spared any more whitewash. ;D

That Mr Yellow sure knows how to hang on to the edge while flapping.  It looked a strong breeze blowing at him, and a good workout.   He's now gone back on the ledge, and a sister has hopped up in his place.  Actually it seems two are up on the ledge, so would that be Miss Green's first hop up?
