Yes, Genesse male has transmitter. So did the female there right now , but it came off.  And the Genesse male is home  I just got him on cam and he is in and out.

Damn. I am glad to see him but... I just do not know why the other 2 have not laid eggs yet.  They were both at box on SAt and then poof.

Gord was so glad to see the male I had sent him pictures of because he had not seen a brown falcon since early 2000 By the way he did confirm that the banded female was indeed the one  from last year ,minus transmitter

Does the Genesee male have a tracking transmitter? Is that how you know his location?

I just received this message

The PTT Genesee male crossed from South Dakota to NE Wyoming on May 10 so with just Montana to go he is likely in Alberta now or will shortly so.

So now we will have to wait and see. I f I have time I will head out there on Sunday

I told them there were 2 falcons around there, but I am not sure if still there.

did not see any yesterday. Hopefully there will be one or 2 on cam today.
And if male from last year comes back, well, I guess...

My sources are in the field right now and are dial up ,that is why there are no new reports. I will hopefully hear this weekend.

Ah Yes. We had some techical difficulites with the camera but we are back in service.

We are considering some upgrades to make the system more reliable.

"As of Tuesday May 1, the male was almost through Guatemala.  Still a bit to go, but given his increased pace and the fact that it is now May 7, people should start watching for his arrival.  This all assumes he his coming back to Genesee."

there were 2 at nest box last night,finally . I believe unbanded and banded. the Genesse male is still far away.

Our Genesee female was just in the nestbox again, looking around; she looks for all the world like she is waiting and watching for someone to show up.  I hope her mate appears soon.
