Good morning all...sorry I missed posting pics yesterday...and so far this morning, this has been the extent of the "excitement".  At first I thought the cam was frozen, but there have been subtle changes in position...gotta go run errands, but hope to have more "action" shots later on in the day...

So little I think it must be Dad doing his last babysitting of the day, while Mom gets her evening hunt time.  Chickie is oblivious but I bet a good night snack is going to appear soon.

Prob with the cameras?  2 is a little fluff ball nestled down for the night, 3 is a big fluff ball looking out over the top of the box.

Sometimes even 30 seconds difference between the cams gives very different views.  Usually after watching a few minutes the cams get all caught up to within seconds of each other for refreshing.

I know, they're just so sweet together.  I hope they take lots of photos too.  I'm hoping Bev will be there and if she is, we know she will take loads of photos for us!

Awww...first thing she does when wakes up is go over to mom on the edge of the box and snuggles up to her or maybe she's checking her feet for food  ;D
And Mom turns around to face her, while still taking occasional over the shoulder security checks.

Thanks
Usually between 18-28 days old .  They want to wait til they've grown enough so the bands won't fall off their legs but not too old so they panic and try to run out of the box and hurt themselves falling out of the box or off the ledge.  They should be banding our girl soon, she was born the 26th of June I think.

Thanks, Carly.
I hope there are lots of pictures taken at banding.  First born and only children usually have very fat baby albums full of the momentous milestones!

How old is a chick at banding?

Me three!  I like seeing her standing behind mum peering out.  Right now she's sleeping on her side!!!  It's adorable  :D

I kinda forgot there was more than 1 camera.. :-[ - now that the chick is alot bigger, I find that camera #3 is a good view!!! - and we can see Mom hanging out right outside too!  ;D

I agree, Ballywing, I love seeing that fluffy baby looking out from behind the dignified, vigilant parent.  Sometimes you need to check Cam 1, as the farthest rail isn't in Cam 3.

As long as there is no risk of health danger, all the clutter adds some variety in the nest to make up for having no siblings.  That and playing with its shadow.

ROTFL!!!
