I saved the pix and then tried copy & paste but it didn't work.  I think someone posted how to do that but I forgot which thread.  Oh well, you'll have to take my word that it was super cute with baby snuggled in under Mom's wing.   :)  Baby is probably bigger than usual being the only chick the parents have to feed, especially the big feeds off those Franklin gulls.

I can't see the picture JL  :(  but I'm sure it's cute, they like to cuddle alot.  Mom almost seems sad when baby is sleeping like she wants her to wake up so they can cuddle..hehe!

Great to hear from you Bev, hope you are enjoying yourself and don't worry we're keeping an eye on her in your absence, SGB is doing a great job keeping us updated on pictures  Baby is getting bigger and I'm inclined to agree with bcbird that it's a she but then again being the sole recipient of all the food could mean a really big boy too..hard to tell!

Hi, I cannot post pictures from where I am but thought I would check in.

he?she has sure grown and can hardly wait to get home Sunday evening  and try and check her out in person. Keep a close watch this week ;) ;)

she is being well fed, do not worry.  The garbage will not come out to the fall. It is all feathers and although thee may be a few insects there is nothing to worry about.  the biologists have e-mailed me about this already.

The female last year was very protective of the young miss.  We did not think she was ever going to let her fledge :) :)
Thanks Sky Girl blue for what you are doing Bev..

I am away till 'sunday evening but i just hd to check in.  Nuts or what.

Those are great pictures from SkyBlueGirl.  That chick looks the size of a full-grown chicken - I presume that the webcam makes everything look larger.

Wow, that was a huge bedtime snack!  Great pictures, SGB.
All is quiet now, very full chick conked out with parent standing watch on the edge of the box.

Well it's past my bedtime, 5:30 am comes quickly.  Was hoping to see a feeding before I logged off..hehe..it's silly I worry about her being fed as if I could do something about it.  Like order a pizza to be delivered to the box with quail on it maybe??!!  ;D
