Oh she's up now, stretching, posing and eyeballing the camera!  Now she's gazing out of the box...waiting on someone to come ... is it possible to get cuter overnight??   The area around her eyes is darkeneing more...in certain light she looks a little like zorro..hehe  :D

Now she is looking up suspiciously at the cam.  This little one seems so much more active!
Talking away furiously, must be too hungry to go to sleep.  I think it's dad on the rail, and he's looking around, no doubt hoping mama will show up with lunch and end this tirade!    Chickie has even got her head and beak poked over the edge as she yaks away.  Very funny.

She is so cute I can hardly stand it!  Definitely more dark feather development today.
Now she is sitting up tall in the box facing mom outside.  Mom is also facing her and both are chatting away.

Just still seeing a face-plant.  Guess I should switch cams.

Mom just in for a quick cuddle and is now standing guard outside.  Perhaps Dad is off getting the bedtime snack.

SGB, these are lovely pictures.  I especially like the one of chick resting her beak over the edge.  Her rate of growth these last few days seems phenomenal!  It now does seem possible to believe she is getting close to banding.

That one was my favorite, too...it seemed that just about everytime I checked the cam today....flat as a pancake and out like a light...

Her (?) dark feathers are just starting to come in...can't wait for her to get that full raccoon mask.

It's the way teenagers are, and she must be just about there!  So far, she doesn't look likely to have that phase Lightning (Elk River) went through.  At our house it was called the "Mommy is a " phase.  Yeah, very loud and quite obnoxious.

She is big.  No doubt, banding is soon.  Still laughing that everytime I check, she's in a face-plant!  Sleep... sleep... sleep....
