Mom jumps out onto the ledge and all is quiet...zzzzzz.

The kids were sleeping, Mom comes in with a fair size bird, started sweet chupping to wake up the chicks, too cute.  Oh my, what a noisy bunch right now having their dinner.  They seem ravished.

..., and the chicks are presently doing a walkabout, or I should say a staggerabout,...

LOL.  Wish I'd seen that!

Holy feathers flying, parents squawking, they just grabbed a big bird.

I was just watching them, and yes, I believe the feather is gone, and the chicks are presently doing a walkabout, or I should say a staggerabout, in the nest, with mom outside on the perch.

did anyone check to see if the feather swallower got rid of his tickler?  can't watch the cameras at work.... ( work? bah.. work )

I was just thinking the same thing hes trying to go to sleep now, I sure hope one of the others get playful and pulls it out

Oh, there's a little one with a feather stuck in his mouth.  He's been trying hard to swallow it but it's stuck.  Because of that, he didn't get much food either.  I hope he doesn't get choked on it.  It's still stuck in his beak.  I'm hoping his siblings or Mom will pull that out for him.

Finally, breakfast is being served!

Mom's making a huge racket calling for food for at least 10 minutes.  Little ones huddled saying, "Mom, can you keep it down, we're trying to sleep"!

Very peaceful and quiet chick pile with parent standing guard close by, looking out.
One little one just bobbled up sleepily and looked about before flopping over in the direction of the parent.  Night night.

parent there now...don't know if there will be another feeding or not...

No parents around for about an hour now!!  - Heard some serious screeching going on a couple times, but nobody showed up so far.
