Have to laugh out loud at those kids. The noises, you'd think they were starving .
Dad couldn't tear apart the food fast enough and the chick in the back managed to steal food from two of its sibs in the front.
And as soon as the parent stopped pulling apart food, the kids stopped yelling.  Way toooo funny.

oh, now it's dinner time and four BIG chicks are all lined up.  nifty!

dang, I just got home and opened the cam and flipped out briefly when I didn't see chicks!  Then I noticed that SOMEONE had done a poop shot on the camera and blocked the view, and the chicks were hiding in that corner.

that's just not right.

last years banding was June 12, we have 9 days with poop!

They also were hatched a week later last year,

It should be if I figure right sometime this week that they will be banded, now if they just stop turning this way and shooting we can still see alot of the nest and kids

They won't be able to clean that until the chicks get band, darn!

That she does...I can't believe how well kept these four little chicks are!  Food is obviously not a problem to find! 
They look and sound healthy and happy!

These 4 are very energetic and so much fun to watch.  They stop screaming as soon as Mom jumps out of the nestbox.  When Mom's not in the nestbox, they're so quiet.  She has them trained.
