Princess is going to have a rough nite with the wind predicted to get stonger than now.   How strong is the "velcro"? ??? Those pebbles are nothing to hang on to!

Another feeding going on. The babies seem to have grown since this morning!

The crop is so full on one of them that he is almost falling over ;D

I think it is Esmerelda (the smallest) has such a time to get her neck up there with the rest to get some food.  And of course she is always in the back row!!  Sure can notice the 2 day difference in age.

1447 hrs

Princess is on the eggs right now and she's head down, butt up to keep the little darlings covered.  The wind is catching her tail feathers so it is either swinging or has swung around to the NW.  May annoy the Radisson birds overnight but its a nice break for the Brandon birds!

Think you must mean on the "chicks" right now, n'est pas?

Ivy brought some fairly large prey into the box and Princess chupping at him to "Not now, put that in the pantry for later."

I know this isn't excatly Princess and Ivy related, but one of the names flying about for the new Winnipeg hockey team is "The Falcons".   I think it has a nice ring to it. :)

I think there is a "Falcons" hockey team somewhere, but I thought it would be a great fundraiser ... as the peregrines are neighbours of the MTS Centre, we could maybe get a pair of really good season's tickets donated which we could then raffle off each year, or for each game - $10 for a chance to win the seats.

But they will probably be called the Winnipeg Jets again ... which isn't bad either ... and we are still neighbours after all  ;) ;D

Beautiful dark feathered Ivy with dazzling white chicks, a beautiful colour contrast.

If I was a bird, I would fall in love with Ivy, one beautiful peregrine. :D

Light is kind of dim in the box at the moment so can't be positive but sure looks like Ivy with all the kids underneath, or mostly underneath him.

jBy the way that was in Kelowna

Hey, Mother Hen, please, get in touch next time you are out my way!  I'll show you the nest of our local bald eagles.

The two small birds may have been trying to shoo the  eagle away from their own nest area.  Naturally the eagle would be unconcerned, just cause it is an eagle!
