1030 hrs (local) - no wind, napping Princess.  Overcast so its a little cooler than it has been other mornings with the sun, but other than that, it is down right boring on the nestledge right now.  Absolutely nothing going on.

Not just a crane, need a basket crane (specialized) that can reach up 14 stories - even more specialized and there was only one in town at the time and as I recall, it was the first time one that big/tall had been in town ...

What BCCS said - we need to arrange for swing stage to get up there when the chicks are between 21 and 25 days of age.  Last time (2006) we were able to use a crane which worked wonderfully but that company isn't around anymore, so we are back to swing stages.

Hey Moonstar, that's what all the banter about window washers was for. TPC et al will have to rent a, I think she called it a swing stage, from a window cleaning company. You know, one that hangs from the roof for hi-rises.

Just saw a lovely window washing piece of equipment at city place.It actually crossed my mind to offer them " special favours " if they would move their stuff a bock east and a block north.
Thank god, sanity prevailed.
