Ha, you have to be kidding. ::)

Peregrines are majestic, rare and beautiful. They fly with grace, they hunt with singlemindedness and they are involved, hands on parents.

Pigeons........    I rest my case. ;D

Indeed!

Is your butt back at work?

Hahaha! Yeah, butt's here. Mind is not. I've got to be careful. I notice when I'm gone.   ::)
Bahahahahaha........   Cooper, you are sooooooo hooked. ;D ;D

Alright I blame you.

So what is it about these birds anyway? Why aren't we bemoaning the fate of the pigeons for example.

Hey yeah! And give myself more pay! Lots more. Then maybe I wouldn't have to work so many hours and can spend even more time on the street.   ;D

oh Cooper, you do know that the tree is going to pick up on where you want to spend more time ::) ::)

Oh yes, the birdies might go away, but the phanatics never do ;D

There's something wrong with this equation...not sure what exactly.  :-\  I think I better be thankful that the birds don't hang around all year.

Out for another walkabout 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. (Being self employed, I really ought to fire my lazy behind - next to no work getting done today!). The downtown skies are full of peregrines! Soaring and banking against the wind (the young'uns with a bit of flapping now and then to catch the "waves"). Don't know how many are actually airborne. Saw three at once, but mostly one or two at a time until I'd lose them behind a building. Above MTS, Kensington Bldg, CityPlace, the Radisson, Portage & Main. Sometimes, it seemed they were just hovering in one spot. So cool.

As I was I was heading back south, I spied someone resting up underneath the big white dish on the Rogers building. Don't know how long s/he'd been there, but I sat and watched for about 10 minutes to see what s/he'd do. A watched pot (peregrine) never boils (flies) - was still there when I rousted myself up & walked back to work.
As being self employed, who do do report the slack employee to? When you go home tonight, stand in front of the mirror and report yourself. Let your image know, as your (self) employee, you can and will do as you please. Please continue to provide us with your wonderful updates. After you do this, add my message to your employee file. You may get a promotion. GCG

Saw an adult on the ledge of the louvers on the south west side, and a juvie on the ledge of the louvers on the south east side.
Not so sure that I can make it to the parking lot tomorrow, got company coming and I have some serious cooking/cleaning to do.
But I'll be there Sunday for sure.

Anyone could have seen # 6 and not known it. They fly behind buildings, land on roofs and just play hide and seek. It would be rare to see all six at once, but it doesnot mean anyone is missing.    Big breath now gcg,  ;D

Training should be, if not already started.
Thanks again bccs. No words can tell the project how much I/we rely on all of you. My first year here on the forum is much like I remember K-12. The education must not/cannot end.  :-* If I breathe any deeper, I will need a paper bag over my face to breathe into. LOL! Thanks for everything.
