walking to work this morning .. looking up, and what do i see ontop of the Air Canada Building.... one of the kids.  I stood on Carlton just looking for quite awhile then he/she flew over to the Rogers Building.  It didn't sit their too long though .. did some more flying about .... went around the east side of the rogers building, then turned west and sat on the top of the Hydro Building.

Just after I left you folks (about 5:50 - 6:00 p.m.), I was sitting in my car on the street just north of Portage Avenue waiting for my passenger. Got to watch Princess do lazy circles just above the Paris & Kensington Buildings.  :)

Just read about little "Mac" in Brandon and shed a few tears - poor little fellow.  Made me really want to see our guys even more than usual - wish I could've made it tonight.  I'm sure going to try on the weekend.  It sounds like they are a wonder to behold!! :-*

oh, we saw birdies tonight. Princess on the s of the Radisson, East side, one of the kids on the louvers on the south side, another kid on the louvers on the east side. Nice that they are tucked in, it's still very windy here.   Smart birdies. ;D

I laughed, I cried. . . . . .I got excited, afraid & happy. . . . I felt TPC's pain!!!!
WHAT A WEEK!!!!!!!
I've been away since last Wed and just now finished catching up on all the posts.  I feel such pride being a part of this forum - even as only (predominantly) an observer.  The dedication, support and co-operation, bravery, quick thinking and poise shown by those HEROS that saved our slightly 'evil little witch' is moving and outstanding.  TCP, you sound a little like your feelings have been hurt after offering up your thumbs as bird-snack-sticks.  I hope you heal quickly!!!

Many, many thanks again to all who reported on all the action over the last week.  Many more thanks to those who are assisting our Radisson Roayl family in so many ways!  BRAVO   BRAVO!!!

You are welcome gcg, I have a very good teacher. ;D

On my walk home Mr Ivy was on the EAST, yes east Radisson sign, nicely perched on the second s.
2 kid playing hide and seek on cityplace, north side.

I hope they stay around for us later on today.

And WE have very good teachers. ;)

My daily noon hour trip to cityPlace - July 15

Walking down Graham east to CP, at first I thought I was going to be disappointed. No one in the sky, no one on the corner trim. Then I heard the familiar cacking - and a racket it was too! Looked up and around, but couldn't see anyone. No one in the sky. No one on the Hydro logo (where I thought the sound was coming from). No one on the "a". And then I spy movement on the "n". Yes! Bobbing of heads and general jostling and cack-cack-cack. I think there may have been two birds. Young'uns for sure. But by the time I fished my "linderlou" specials (my $10 purse size binocs) from out of my purse and found them again, there look to be just one. But so pretty! The light playing on her (where ever it was coming from) made her "white" feathers shine like gold. That was about noon. She was still there when I left CP at about 12:30.

And my thanks to you, Coop, for your informative update. Keep them coming, GCG

Are you able at anytime to see all four kids playing in the air or do the parents sort of take turns keeping track of a couple at a time ???
I haven't seen all 4 birds, but last week we saw 5 together, that was the day that the "biter" was in jail.  ;D
We should be seeing more of the parents getting involved very soon as they will start teaching the chicks how to get food from a mid-air drop and then how to hunt.
Thanks bccs for the latest update and what to expect the chicks to learn in the weeks to come. Hope to hear and learn more of their experiences and coming of age before they all take flight and leave us. All of you in the Peregrine Project are incredible. Hope to hear more soon. GCG.
