Had an appt. in downtown Winnipeg this morning. Spotted one of the birds on the south east corner of the Rogers Bldg. but didn't have my binocs with me, so I'm not sure if it was a juvie or a parent.
Still, great to see him/her.
Also, when returning home around 2:00 PM, I spotted 2 birds soaring and then swooping high in the sky near Lagimodiere & Concordia. They sure did look like peregrine falcons. Could this be so, TPC, or do you think they were red tailed hawks?
Whenever I have spotted a hawk, it is usually alone and the thing that caused me to notice these 2 birds was that they were flying higher than I have ever seen a hawk and they were clearly together.
Could they have been any of our peregrines?
