In all the years that I have been following the Peregrines, I have never been so nervous waiting for them to return as I am this year.  I feel like I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to see Trey show back up that I actually decided to do my very first post in 4 years of following the birds!  Trey sure knows how to make a sensation!
So glad you have joined the posters, Falcon watcher! :D I, too, watched the webcam and read the posts for several years before signing up last year. It is much more interesting to be part of the conversation, especially when there is lots of drama occuring, like there appears to be right now, in the downtown, while we all sit and wait for Trey to return!

Princess had quite a feed on the ledge about 45 minutes ago, did not see how the meal was delivered........?  All of a sudden she was plucking away, feathers flying on the folks below.  Tracy - did you see how the meal arrived?  We didn't see her fly off the ledge to go hunting..?

Might have seen her on the sign right before she went off to kill unsuspecting lunch.  Bird seemed to buzz in then drop right out, which is something they do, go high, spot something then off they go again ... timing seems about right.  But no, didn't get to see either event I'm afraid  :'(

1120 hrs - you'd think with the windy weather yesterday and the rain overnight & this am the birds would just adore being able to hang out on the sign in the sun with no wind ... but noooooo  :(

One bird on "n" for not long enough for me to zoom in on it ... can't find anyone else either  :'(

Thank you Saoirse,  I have read every single post on the site.  Sometimes twice.  Once the camera is back up and running I will have it on my screen for hours as I work just in case the chicks do something funny.  But this year, I have yet to settle down waiting for Trey to show up.... I'm not going to have any nails left at this rate!

Falcon watcher, welcome to the world of forum posters! Like you, I had watched the falcons for several years before joining the forum last spring. I've found that taking part in the forum has made me feel much more involved with the falcons -- hope it works the same way for you.  :D
