1844 hrs (local) - she's got her back to us now, going to have to wait until she deigns to turn around before we are going to get any chance at seeing if the chick is out yet ...

Ty for the link I did go there but didnt find the family tree there.  Yes I thouhgt Ivy was Princess's son.

for the last 5 minutes or so Princess has been doing a whole lot of squirming, rearranging eggs and has been "talking to herself" (but probably the eggs)

Hey there TPC...I know you would know the answer...what is Ivy's relationship  to Princess...is there bloodline link. Forgive my ignorance and perhaps you have already discussed this(waaay before my time)...Thank You in advance

Hi Cara, bccs here. I just happened to be on line and know the answer to this one. So that you don't have to wait for TPC, here we go.
Ivy is the son of Princess and Trey from the 2005 hatch. Tracy has started a family tree history, here's the link.

Boy I dont know...but Princess is very reluctant to give up her 'station' today. Ive seen Ivy twice and he has been 'shooed' away by Princess. Is this an indication of anything?
