I don't want to cry wolf...but I thought I just saw a cracked egg.  Is anyone else watching and able to tell me if what I thought I saw is actually what I saw?

Cara
Hi Cara, bccs here. I just happened to be on line and know the answer to this one. So that you don't have to wait for TPC, here we go.
Ivy is the son of Princess and Trey from the 2005 hatch. Tracy has started a family tree history, here's the link.

I was hoping today was the day too though as tomorrow I'll be back at work and they've banned live streaming so I will miss it.  Take lots of screen caps if it happens!

Not to worry Carly, I'll be saving any video clips of the hatching and the new chicks - just depends on how much of a look the adults will give us!!

1738 hrs - She's got her head down and she looks to be asleep rather than "listening", too still for that.   She doesn't rest like that much, so she may know she's only got a little time left for undisturbed napping ...

Ivy was by for a visit a few minutes ago - but Princess stayed on the eggs.

Is this a sign that we should get up early to check the nest first thing in the morning. :o

I guess it's getting too late in the day for anything to happen now.... :-\maybe tomorrow!!! :)

The fact that she isn't leaving for a break has me wondering...some of the nest sites I've woken up and seen egg shells at 5:30 in the morning so I know they must have hatched during the night or really, really early in the morning!  I was hoping today was the day too though as tomorrow I'll be back at work and they've banned live streaming so I will miss it.  Take lots of screen caps if it happens!

No Action for quite a while now, Princess sure is having a long nap!! ::)

Maybe she senses this is going to be her last good nap for a few months  ;)

He's probably doing the same as we are; checking in and asking "Anything to report yet?"   ;D
