Just a bit of light rain coming down in Osborne Village - but lots of dark clouds coming from the south. Looking out my window the clouds haven't reached downtown yet - but I'm sure they'll be there very soon.

I see a parent has been on standby most of the evening getting ready to act as umbrella if necessary.

So happy they nested on the west  :)

ps - It just started pouring here 8:58pm

It is dark and there is thunder in Fort Garry.  I notice one of the parents is sitting on the edge of the nest box.  Guess they know a storm is moving in.  It is pouring rain here right now with thunder and lightening.

A little bit of waddling up to the camera lens... now "hunkering down". It's beginning to rain quite heavily here where I live in N.K. A storm is on it's way, I can here the thunder! :o

We'll get you over that shyness thing you have, never fear.  ::)
Actually, I was refering to your frequent lunches with Benjamin Franklin while you were a school girl.

Well, I think the chick is OK - hard to see them all right now, but did catch glimpses of all four.  That poor chick was struggling forever with that foot in its mouth . . . I thought it was going to choke or something. :(

I was feeling anxious, watching that too!  Poor little thing spent the whole feeding, struggling with that scrawny leg, while everybody else gobbled down the real meal!  Seems to be okay now...can't really see that chick properly ???

Another chick tried to eat a foot, valiantly trying to swallow the long thing. Eventually it looked like it retched it back up.
Snack time over, the chicks are now investigating the camera. Great close-ups of the full crops!

Snack time!
Except one of the chicks is not interested in food, thank-you, and would rather doze . . . ok, now s/he's hungry. I guess food won out over sleep.

Nope, chickpiling it today ... yesterday they were starting to find their "own" corners to keep out of the sun but today its seems to be all for one and one under all.

:) To all of the forum, make no mistake. Tpc said "all for one and one under all", That is what I and(you) see. The weather yesterday was beautiful, however, as they say in the song, "but that was yesterday, and yesterday's gone".  :(

Looks mighty windy way up in that nest box!  No wonder they are all  piled up!  Someone just got an "itch" and had to scratch ;D

I think it's one of the most comical things to see, when one of them scratches.
