Nope, weather sucks, they are staying safely indoors.  Smart chicks.  Good nestbox.

Thanks to Tracy, Dennis, Eye Spy and Dr. Bob for the great banding day.  I forgot about it at 3pm my time. Oh well such is life and my brain.  To Bcbird and the other thank-you for the running commentary during the banding process. It was great, felt like I didn't miss a thing!!!!! 2 boys and 2 girls, just like my own family.  Excellant day!!

One of the parents was sitting on the I this morning and just left. They were probably waitng to see if Tracy and her gang were coming back today! Thanks for those pictures of the banding....They are so cute. I got to see them at home as cut off at work. They are getting brave coming to the edge of the box
makes me nervous.

...i was busy yesterday, missed the banding, but great photos, thanks to all those who provided them,  and the running commentary!  Very happy to hear that there are 4 healthy chicks;  2 of each!   Fledge watch is going to be nerve-wracking.  When are they going to be due to start fledging?

Morning all, one or all of our chicks keep waking up and checking out what is up.  They are in fact all sleeping in the outside/open part of the nestbox tonight.  We are suppose to have rain later today (10-30mm) including thunderstorms, they will all be back undercover and closer to the nestbox cam then ...

I am so looking forward to those coloured ID bands helping us sort out the personalities.  Who knows, maybe it has been the little males singing their hearts out.

Usually the vocals come from the our lady of the nestbox Princess, Vesper followed in her lead and I'm sure the two females here are following in their Mom's vocal style and providing the singing into the camera.

I do wonder though, how loud are chicks during banding? 
I wonder if the video will have sound? 
I can't wait to see the banding again...we even get to see Larry wave at the cam a few times again 

From watching other sites with sound, at banding the chicks are very loud. If these ones don't have sound, you should check out some of the other sites at banding and listen to the loudness.
