After all, if you build it (the webcam and nestbox), they (the phantics) will come!
What the heck are phantics?  I meant.... phanatics!  Just in case I confused you, and you thought I meant elephantics.

I knew what you meant.  As I've said with a similar typo of mine -- great bunch of people here that don't point that kind of thing out!   ;D  We can all read between the missing/extra/transposed letters.

I've noticed that the parents aren't leaving baby alone for very long after the banding/capture attempt episode.   ;D

And then the nail biting will follow here soon enough when the young miss is ready to fledge

I am not standing very well under all this drama this year.

But so far so good here.

Thanks for the link, Carly

It looks like they have got over the "evil man" incident and are back to the happy family life.  Chick is exercising her wings a bit with watchful parent, maybe Dad, on the ledge.

They are are their way to look for fallen eaglet again . I believe I heard it once below this morning but not again.

Unfortunately the one on  est has not eaten for 2 days that we can see. So then one out of nest had not eaten up to fall.
will keep you posted

the pretty young miss is really getting her pin feathers . she has been fed an watered and is resting.  the adults have been off and on the perch this morning. I have a few more pictures. Still working on the banding and watching my Delta eagles

Onw picture is as female leaves the nest with leftover prey after feed last night and one from this morning.
As I post the male came in and cuddled and talked to chick and is now on outside nest box looking in

Bev, could you let us know whether or not the lost eaglet was recovered and survived its fall?  I am sure we would all be keen to know if there is a happy ending to this story.

Oh no, one of the eaglets fell???  I watched them too but haven't checked on them in awhile as I've been watching our girl here and another set of boys here set to fledge any day.  I'll go check right away, hope he/she is ok.

As for our girl here, she's in the corner napping and mom is standing guard on the rail ...
