Hmmm, if memory serves me correctly, if I'm in here using my "hungry voice", Mom or Dad will come with food... :P

At least one of the juvies is still coming back to visit. One was there briefly yesterday, and one visited this afternoon.

One also visited the nest box this evening.

The nest is usually empty now, but I just caught a short visit by one juvie:

I haven't seen anything but an empty nest box for the past two days.

Found a story on the banding at this nest, which must have happened some time back although the story was dated June 25.

The chicks were named for Nebraska rivers; the two females were named Nemaha and Niobrara, and the two males were named Platte and Calamus.

There are a few pics with the article:

Two of the juvies visited the nest box this evening, and one decided to spend the night. I wish we knew whether all four fledged successfully.

They may have walked farther than the roof. The nest box is still empty, and no sign of any of the chicks on the roof either.

Hi Alison, checked out your pics which were great. If 3 are accounted for is 4 up on the roof out of view. Guess time will tell. Tks for the info.

I don't know whether they have actually fledged. When I first checked today, the nest box was empty: then there was one in the box and one flapping on top of it. A little later I found three chicks in the nest box:

At the moment the nest box is empty again.

Any updates if anyone of them have fledged yet?

I could only see three chicks at the nest earlier. They are constantly wandering:

Finally, all four were visible:
