I guess now, all anyone can do is hope and pray.
Maybe someone is down there watching right now as we type . .
Just trying to remain positive :)

I missed it, too.  Been watching Ms Elk River.  Sticking on cam 3 now, tho!  I'm sure I could have both open, half-screen each, if I was a techie -- rats! Maybe it's time to split my window...

Brief visit by a falcon inside the nest box.
That nest looks very finished, wonder when the next dismantling will occur?

Don't lose hope/faith on the nest box Bev.
The falcons have not returned yet, and with my fingers/toes crossed and I'm sure everyone else's as well, it is still safe to dismantle the Raven's nest, all will work out  :)

I also read  a report of falcons in their nest box and ravens not far away on a ledge in their nest.  I do know they tolerate each other . It is just getting a nest.

I know of a few places the falcons could go here if they are not successful.  but whether they will or not is another story.

I just can't put my heart into this right now as we have had the falcons here for over 30 years.

Seems that Ravens taking over Falcons nests is a big hit this year, just found this on the Rochester forum...in Scotland some Ravens took over a falcon nest (although years earlier it had been a ravens nest) and the falcons failed to evict them ...but good news, no one was hurt and the falcons moved to a new area and both have eggs so it all ended happily  :D

Here's the link if you want to read it:
