I can't help but think that that itty-bitty edge made them leave early! the Radisson chicks hopefully will stay longer given their bigger area. Nice light, artificial and natural, on these birds this evening..

Watching these guys on that itty-bitty bar makes the nestledge edge look pretty darn good! So long as our kids stay on the ledge and the edge ...

if it weren't for those random tufts of white, anyone would mistake those big guys for adults at first blush. I'm pleased that they visit the nestbox at night so we get a chance to see them as they become fully grown...

Two on the outside bar looking in.  Looks like they're enjoying the sunset.   :D

Two home for the night.  One on the edge and the other facing in from the close rail.
Obviously it's great to see them, but especially since for over three weeks I couldn't see this cam, and just checked again tonight.  Nice to hear that train again!

I think Liz and Pchemist may be right, had a look at the cam and couldn't see the "ladybugs".  Going to have to check it out later this afternoon/evening to see if it reappears!  Maybe not ladybugs (or birdie parts)  :'(  ;)

even as the sun goes down it could still be light refraction/reflection on the cam optics, as I think it's more to do with the artificial lights of the power station than the sun (just my guess).

all three boys are on the ledge line up, and a parent is on the perch in front.  nice family moment!

no worries.   It looks pink to me - what do you think it is, TPC?

First thing I thought of was ladybugs, how weird is that?  Maybe its prey remains, anyone see a feeding frenzy late this afternoon?

If Liz is right, it is an optical digital reflection/refraction thingy, I really want to know why it looks like ladybugs or birdie bits  :D
