I have been tuning in each evening within an hour before sunset and watch the brothers return. When the second one arrives, they smell, peck, not sure but they touch beaks.... kinda like hey, is that you, how are you doing? Two there now but one keeps looking up and I'm guessing maybe #3 is on the roof of the nestbox, hope so, didn't see him last night.

Still one just perched on the edge of the nestbox enjoying the view!!!

only one brother tonight watching the July 4 celebrations in the distance... I seem to recall all 3 in the box last year quite freaked out the fireworks but not this year...

okay, where is everyone? I know it's not very exciting here but we had fun last year. 2 brothers out on the ledge, wondering where #3 is...

two of the brothers are perched on the outer portion, calmly watching the world go by (or sleeping, hard to tell really).  Third could be there but there is no telling.  nice to still have them visit.

weird light in the park below that has not been there before.. maybe kids driving around in the park?! weird, and noticed by the boys..

I thought we only had 2 of the brothers this evening but I can see tail feathers of #3 on the far left... the weather looks to be calm and the big guys look very comfy back on the ledge tonight.  Memories of last year and in particular, July 4th when they all stayed in the box staring out at the fireworks and not very happy about it at all! We shall see what Saturday brings..

Awww....the three stooges are just too cute coming home to sleep....must be that security of having a guaranteed roof over your head.

The boys are home for the night, two + the tailfeathers.  They look so grown up.

It's preen and clean before the day ahead.  Won't be that many days that we will have the opportunity to see them.  Have a safe day "boys".

The "boys" are still roosting but as the sun comes up I am sure it won't be long before they are out and about.  Nice to have them come back to their home so we all know they are safe.

Still only see tail feathers of #3, but very nice to know all three are here for the night.

I think #3 is on the outer ledge on the far left, moooove over a bit so we can get a look atcha!

Yes...as long as they stay on the ledge, best would be to go to bed in the gravel.....
