Surprise, someone's out on the ledge.     I haven't seen any falcons around this nest in a long time.

I got a couple more pics and it looks like she is ok I also got a juvie I think it must have been the heat or the juvie I saw SusanB reassured me she is ok

Would there be territorial disputes this time of year?  I think not.  What might happened to her? 

As I understand it, the territorial dispute was back in March, she lost and moved to the Xcel Energy Sherco Plant in Oak Park and nested.  Her kids were banded successfully (and named) not so long ago. 

Yes they were TPC ....and it wonderful to watch her at the Sherco Plant!!!  Those chicks were adorable as all chicks are!

no worries, I was glad to hear the news!  And TPC will clean it up with her trusty shovel. 

Not sure its necessary as we have subsequently explained the connection to this site and where she is now. Its actually a nice piece to add to this thread as she was here last year and folks remember her ...

nobody there now, kittenface.  I would think if she were injured she might stay there a bit?  Perhaps not, as it is enclosed.

I found mom but something isn't right she was favoring her left wing and she about fell off the rail when she jumped out there its got me a bit worried

these aren't the elk river names.  elk river was schoolkids again, and the surviving brothers are (as I recall) Roger, Edward, and Royal.

I think these are the Sherco site names, which explains at least one of them.

Sorry for getting you all confused!  30B was displaced here in a nasty territorial scream-off some of us witnessed online back in March and we had not heard up until now whether or not she survived once the fight moved to outside or whether she had perished.  I should have made a new topic.

Yes TPC.  30B was displaced in a territorial fight at GRE this year - remember the one with the missing talons we were all upset about.  she is now at Excel Energy Sherco!!  Although I believe she originally started out at Sherco a few years ago then the box was hit with lightning and damaged so she moved to GRE and I think she went back to Sherco last year but decided to try for GRE again but was told the box was already rented out to a new tenant  .  So she is back where she should be

GREAT NEWS...30/B IS ALIVE AND WELL!!  Kittenface just posted on BCAW the great news and I know she'll probably come here too but I couldnt' wait to tell you.. 

I love 30/B and I know alot of you do too!!  I was just heartbroken when I saw her in that territorial dispute, I was so afraid she had gotten injured but she not only survived, she's doing great and had 3 babies - 1 female and 2 males!!

I saw 2 of them last night; none there tonight.  They're usually on the ledge by this time to spend the night.  Maybe they're gone.
