Other years if they fledged successfully they used to return to the nest box at night.  That is what I liked about this site.

Only two left in the nestbox now.  Looks like the 2 big girls.  Guess the boys fledged this morning as they were all there last night.  Is there anyone who monitors this nest?  Anybody who reports on fledglings?  Or do we just say goodbye to these cuties now?

Can see clearly just two of the chicks this morning - could be one in the back corner, but don't know if there's room for two. Maybe there's been a fledge? Or two? Anyone know? Would have expected to see somebirdy out on the rung first, but they've always been inside when I've looked. They do look hot, maybe decided it was time to go out for fresh air.

Quite often there is one chick lying down in the back. It first looks like only three, then they move around and you can see the fourth in the back. Don't know if it's the same one all the time, but since all four show up at other times, think maybe one just lies down so as not to get batted during the wingersizing!

I can only see three chicks in the nest box ???  Is one hiding or...?!?

Giant girl is very intent on watching someone fly around.  Little boy is sitting comfortably on the edge.  I think that might be a lump of chick, sleeping in the back of the box...I hope.

Just like last night, there's one face-planted in the back.  :D

I assume the giant is a female too :)  Lots of windersizing going on - I can guess who's going first!

There sure seems to be size difference!  The one closest to the cam (I'm sure it's one of the girls) is a giant! :o

The difference between the one under the "C" and the one left of it, is amazing!

Has anyone been checking in on these guys?  I calculated they are 37 days old today.  This morning one of them was sitting on the edge of the box.  They are definitely at that super (fiercely) cute age!!!  ;D

One of the chicks was just wingercizing and cleaned out the whole nest by blowing away all the junky feathers and stuff :o...
LOL! Too bad the Radisson birds won't do that. They sure could use a nest sweep! :P

Two chiicks at the back of the nest, chowing down on some leftovers and two looking out, showing off their beautiful puffaloons - looks like one of the boys and one of the girls.

Ditto Elaine!   :)  I was so sad when they lost the first female and first nest, but now that we have the second chance nest, it's great to still have babies to watch!
