I have a very vague memory of the chicks being able to access the roof section outside the box without having fledged - could be a totally mixed-up memory, but they seemed to be able to jump out and over. Guess until someone actually sees one of them do something, we'll never know.
sami, you're right - they wingersize for awhile and then moved up top as they practise.  We've seen it a few years now.  :)

This morning when I took a quick look (around 6:45am) the two girls were on the edge of the box and the two boys were sitting ON TOP of the box!!!  Didn't have time for a screenshot, maybe next time.  So the boys are still very much in the area...

Two large chicks left in the box - must be the two girls. Definitely look huge.

Doreen, I agree - there are 4.
;D They're looking so big/puffy. And like a tight bunch.  Dedicated like the Three - nice to see!

Hopefully they will pan out the camera and we'll get a better view of the area.
I miss being able to pick the view.  Previous years I could choose between three cam shots.   :(

There are now definitely three birds in the box!  So did only one leave and the other one was hiding or did two leave and one came back or... ???

Now that the boys have left, the girls don't look so huge!  They're just two cute girls (with amazing wingspans) waiting for their turn to fly the coop!

I just checked the BCAW site and it sounds as though the boys are wandering on a roof to the right of the box that we can't see.  They also said they think one might be a bit lower down and to the right because the ones in the nestbox keep looking that way.  Hopefully they will pan out the camera and we'll get a better view of the area.

Other years if they fledged successfully they used to return to the nest box at night.  That is what I liked about this site.
YES - we had SO much fun with the Three Amigos a few years back!  :D

I kind of miss the view of the road way off to the top of the screen - it was so interesting to see the headlights going by at night.  The trains are still whistling by tho!
