I do agree with Pchem though, seeing their forum site really hits home how LOVELY ours is!  ;D

LOL -- really?!  Ah well, I guess we were all beginners once.

I can't believe how much they've changed since Thursday, which was the last time I saw them.  There was still so much white on them then.

I better go.  Looks like all is going to end well.  Later!

I feel sorry for the folks commenting at the site carly provided.  It's not nearly as nice a place as our forum and I don't think they have their own personal TPC to help them learn stuff.

Though I'm admittedly annoyed that one of them called a falcon an eagle.    >:(

Maybe the parent decided to feed the fledged chick.  That could have been dad swooped by so quick, couldn't really tell.

Doesn't he though Pchemist. Looking more and more adult like plummage each day. The mother sure is yelling now.

our little boy sure does look all grown up!   :D  except for a little fluff on his wing, of course.  ;)

Mom is back perched on the outer ledge. Male perched on edge and female flaked out but watching. hmmm, what will happen today. I hope they switch cams to the outer one today.

They have slide show of pictures from egg to hatch and of the banding up today.  Seems their names are Chase, Lightning and Bullet  ::)  Wonder if our little daredevil was Bullet??

The projected fledge dates they give are Jul 3-10 so I wonder if they'll risk trying to get the girl today - she may try to fly off and if they go up to the box it may scare the other 2 into flying?  She may be able to fledge from the silo maybe ?

maybe they're like human juveniles who can sleep through all kinds of noise and light! They do seem restless though I agree. I have noticed in the last week that one will stand up for a while and stare out into the night.

I hope she's staying with her little girl, what a good Mom she is.  ;D - The other 2 in the nest can keep each other company tonight. They seem restless right now, probably wondering what's going on.. - I don't know how they ever get any sleep around there with all that racket going on, never mind the light blaring in their faces.. ::)

I'm guessing mom is staying with the runaway tonight. No sign of her on the nestbox since around 8 Ontario time this evening.

Ahhh - I think she must have landed on the white silo which is right in front of the tall tower that the nest is on - quite a drop, but not nearly as bad as all the way to the ground!!! - Wish she didn't have to stay there all night but what can you do - hope she does stay put til help arrives tomorrow~!  :-\

Got news from the eagle site from people who watch our falcons too:  A girl just posted this there.  Here is the link if you guys want to check, I hope it's true:  http://wavelit.com/index.php?view=EagleNestLive1

"I just called and talked to the same Steve someone talked to the first call.

He said he "heard" it's alive, landed on a silo, whatever that is, and they folks are going to get the bucket truck and put it back in the nest tomorrow.

Oh, I am praying he is right!"
