Mom swoops into the pic now and then - maybe they're close by, I assume they'd put the fallen chick on the roof? How would she get into the nest though....I think we'll soon find out either way!

clearly both parents are unhappy!  can hear mechanical sounds so hopefully they are going to return the chick soon.
