The other one in the box looks like they'd rather try and fly out the back of the nest box!!! Silly bird!

It is possible they aren't returning the sibling to the nest box, but rather to some place nearby where it is safe to learn to fly....

oh, back the side ledge!  wow....  don't go yet!

And she is clearly not sick - at least right now.  She is flapping a lot too.

Oh!  he flew back to the box!  This is very exciting!   ;D

I think we may witness a fledging.  He looks very strong and very interested in his wings.

oh it got up and stretched its wings and stuff, looks like it might be pecking at whatever bones are left.  Doesnt want much to do with its siblling does it?  Much stretching and flapping by both now.  Goodness. Look at the feathers flying around.

Hmmm - true that chick has been lying there most of the day - wow, that would not be good - one chick falls out, one may be sick, one is testing his wings & teetering on the ledge every 5 minutes!  :-\ I hope that chick is ok - just really laid back  or something.. ???
