all three laying down with faces to the light, one using the ledge as pillow.  mom (or dad) sitting on perch keeping watch.  it's really sweet to see.

relaxing sunny and warm day in the nest box and all seem to be doing well. lots of wing flapping and lining up with beaks on the ledge to watch the world go by...

two looking out at the world, one in the corner dozing where we have a good look from the camera.  That white fluff is rapidly going away...

Kittenface, you should send a copy of that screen capture to the folks at Elk River ... they could probably use it on their website ....
Best to include when you took it just so they know.

Food came in awhile ago.  Two took chunks and feasted away.  Parents seem to be fine. :D

I doubt it, given they have still be here and feeding and you can hear them calling out.  The kids have been watching something intently - I wonder if they are watching a parent fly and hunt?

I wonder if the parents have it too then?  A few pairs in the US have died from it in past years.

Thank you for those factsheets Tracy...I can't believe how severe it (frounce) can become.  I feel terrible for all birds that suffer from this...thank goodness some, unfortunately not all, can be treated!
