These two were on the lower roof this afternoon, April was watching from the top of the nest box.
Amazing photos RCF! They have grown so fast. Soon to fledge. Time goes by so quickly.
Oh those two look ready to go aright ... maybe the cooler weather this week will be the catalyst.Fingers crossed either way!!!And I was looking at the top picture on July 4th and both those ankles look kinda chunky ...do they seem like that to RCF? Can you have a look (photo or no photo) next time you are checking on the kids? From that July 4th photo I'm kinda leaning towards maybe 2 girls ... but you "see" them which is always better ...
Great shots RCF!I'm going to guess and say - male & female this year
These two are getting well fed by the looks of it. Wingo likes to bring the marsh birds home. He had an American Coot last week and just the other day he brought a Killdeer.
Great photos again, RCF. Hoping there are still 3 in the nest.
April doing the mumbrella to shade her chicks this morning. There is a bit more poop art on the back wall under the box too!
There may be a hatch here! I can't say for sure because I saw no food go in the box yet. But by the actions of April it does look like it.
Always grateful for your gorgeous pictures, RCF.
RCF thanks for all your photos and updates.
Know this isn't news to y'all here, but I try to cross post all my updates Thanks to RCF for keeping such a close eye on April & Wingo for us all!https://twitter.com/mbperegrines/status/1385356026489225216
I'm so sorry RCF, I know how much she meant to you and everyone else out there who followed her. Perhaps she's decided to spend her days in the sun relaxing, she has certainly earned it.
This girlie didn't hang around, she was here for one day and I haven't seen her since! Just came for a meal, Wingo fed her!
