Stopped by the site this evening around 6 pm. First we spotted Ty on the east sign, eating dinner. As we headed around to check out the other side of the building spotted a bird flying to the north. It was Faith. She didn't go far. So I set up to take a couple of candid shots of her. She then took off to the south and while I was trying to focus on her flying, I spotted another bird in my peripheral vision. The next thing I knew there was swooping high and very low, an attack was happening. Then Faith headed back to her building. When I looked around for my husband, who had been shouting at me while I was trying to track and focus my camera on the action, I found him lying on the ground. Well, I figured out where the second bird was, under a car and my husband was frantically calling for me. A quick look told me I didn't have to worry too much, it was a pigeon. Still alive, no visible blood, but definately dazed. I don't know if the pigeon was otherwise damaged, and I wasn't crawling under the car to drag out the flying rat. He's just lucky to have survived that go round.
From TPC's photo, we don't have to worry. The kids are still being fed.
