Any time I'm out-n-about is an adventure...some day's are just more exciting than others ! Adventures may include things like, wet from the waist down, boots full of mud, frozen fingers/ears, bug bites on bug bites, explaining to a tow truck dispatcher my location, getting stuck, getting lost,forgetting a shovel,no tow strap...towards the end of the day on Sunday it got exciting, photo wise.

Went to see the "Birds in Flight" show this afternoon at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. It stopped raining long enough for the show to proceed. Saw a bald eagle, a red tailed hawk, a ferruginous hawk, a great horned owl and a lanner falcon. Was well worth the trip to the Zoo! Thanks for recommending it, Dennis.

What a delight to find that they were using one of my favorite owls...a young Great Horned Owl. I must say that I have crossed paths with Great Horned Owls a couple times before !

This will be the last week-end to catch the birds in flight at the Zoo.

No word on Bea yet but I'm she will be working her way back to the nest box like her brothers did.

Wow...Don't think I have every seen so many folks on line at one time this year 

everyone is waiting for word on Bea and her brothers.  I do think we all deserve to know what the poop is.  Many have hit the streets for hours at a time watching the chicks.
