I have been watching off-and-on throughout the day, and have not seen Radisson or her mate return to the nestbox.   I hope the activity did not scare them off.

I wouldn't expect so since she's been here for a few years and nested successfully. Sometimes couple just like to get way from prying eyes to "canoodle"  ;)

Darn , I thought I had posted that photo here.

I will come back and do thumbnail. Sorry

Cams were adjusted today and RAdisson has been spending lots of time in box, but I hope today's fixing did not disturb her.

Gord thinks it is same Male as last year but I cannot get down there till maybe tomorrow , if not Wed. ( grandsons birthday tomorrow)

I am sorry I have not reported. My slate is full right now , with planning daughters wedding for April28, baking, cleaning , trying to observe birds, going nuts ::) ::) ::)
but I wild do a bit now.

We think it is Radisson back and we have a banded male. Not sure if same from last year.

I am hoping to get bands and Jean is helping by trying and getting shots from window.

First off, cam update from Gord.they were supposed to be done last week but we had a blizzard.

U of A cameras 1 and 2 are being replaced by new units as we speak - hope to have them delivering a feed soon.

And just what are you doing in your spare time  ???  ...busy lady  ;)

Bev has a photo where you can clearly see the '7' so far on the band.  Just need to see the 'H' now  ;)

I'm thinking the odds are pretty good that it is Radisson.   ;)

Nice to hear of courtship going on. Have you been able to identify either of them yet? Sure do hope to hear that one is Radisson!

A falcon at the nestbox as I speak.  I am happy that he/she or they were not scared off by all the activity with the new cams.  Now, I hope we can identify who this is.  I  think it is our resident female, Raddison, but until we see leg bands, we don't know anything for sure.

I have not seen any falcons at the nestbox since they installed the new cameras, and apparently they are not finished yet; Bev says she heard that they have further adjustment to do on one camera.  I do hope that our falcons have not been scared away by all the activity.
