Took another drive round WW today. At 6:00 p.m. there was one bird at the Bleachers. The bird was doing some preening and lifted their right leg to clean their talon. Spotted the red band so ... it was Beau. Decided to see if we could find Jules, found her at the Tower. At first she was sitting looking around, but then she dropped to the platform and started/continued working on her dinner.

About 7 p.m. we swung again and spotted both birds on the Diner, in their respective corners.

I'm glad I started carrying my binoculars in my purse ;D

Yesterday evening, just before 8 p.m.:
My husband and I were in the area, he was driving, so we decided to check things out. Started at the diner and there was one falcon there. Yeah... I saw a falcon. Proceeded to the bleachers and spotted one there. Stopped to watch that one for a few minutes. Then the other one showed up. Two falcons at one location...yeah got to see both at same time. They were chupping at each other, but we had to continue where we were headed to. So as we were pulling away, there was a sudden flurry of wings, I'm whipping my head back to try to see what was going on. Canoodling, that's what was going on. But by the time my husband stopped, it was all over...but I still got to see more than I bargained for. ;D

Hi TPC,

Any problems with your non-broadcast spying eyes in WW? Since you said you were having problems with your cameras downtown, I was wondering if it was the same for the cameras in WW.

Because we don't know where she is going to nest, we don't hook up the computers to the cameras until after she's got eggs somewhere.  The cameras are installed and may need another quick clean so they are ready to go, but we have to wait for that first (or fourth) egg!

Well, I guess I thought that you had put up a nestbox at "the Diner" last year, TPC. I guess I was mistaken. :-[

We have a couple of nestsites in this territory Kinderchick and we don't identify any of them either by their nickname or actual location just for security sake.  :)
